　　On February 10th, a delegation from Sinopec Chemical Sales Central China Branch and China-South Korea Petrochemical Company visited our company. General Manager Li Delun warmly received them, and both sides held a discussion and exchange meeting.

　　The one million tons of ethylene project of Sinopec Luoyang Branch is being accelerated. The implementation of the one million tons of ethylene project is an important measure taken by Luoyang Petrochemical to promote the transformation and high-quality development of the enterprise by implementing the industrial policy of "controlling refining, reducing oil and increasing chemicals" in light of the market demand in the surrounding areas of Henan Province and the actual situation of the enterprise. The project is currently in the stage of environmental impact assessment public notice, with a construction period of three years and is expected to be officially put into production in 2025. During this symposium and exchange, both sides discussed the current development status of the plastic industry in Henan Province and the subsequent planning of the ethylene project of Luoyang Petrochemical.

　　It is reported that the construction investment of this project is 24.6 billion yuan. The ethylene project is based on the raw materials provided by the refinery of Luoyang Petrochemical. Build a 150,000-ton/year butadiene extraction unit, a 600,000-ton/year cracked gasoline hydrogenation unit, a 400,000-ton/year aromatics extraction unit, a 30,000-ton/year styrene extraction unit, a 300,000-ton/year m-LLDPE unit, a 350,000-ton/year HDPE unit, a 250,000-ton/year LDPE/EVA unit, and 1 Thirteen sets of petrochemical production facilities, including a 0-million-ton/year EVA unit, a 200,000-ton/year ethylene oxide unit, a 400,000-ton/year No. 3 polypropylene unit, a 200,000-ton/year No. 4 polypropylene unit, and a 50,000-ton/year SEBS unit.

　　As the project progresses, a "park within a park" may be established in the future to attract more enterprises in the industrial chain to join, including functional materials, plastic additives, mechanical processing, molds, etc. Centering on the ethylene project of Luoyang Petrochemical, a complete industrial supporting cluster will be formed, and an important high-end petrochemical industrial base in the central and western regions with an integrated upstream and downstream, a complete industrial chain and core competitiveness will be created.
