　　On April 18th, on the smart screen of Xinjiang Zhongtai (Group) Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Xinjiang Zhongtai), the live scenes of the 1 million tons of methanol project's commissioning and the 1.15 million kilowatt wind power project's commencement were switched. The company's industrial chain partners witnessed the significant moments of these two key projects.

　　At the project site, Ma Kui, the person in charge of the one million ton methanol project of Xinjiang Zhongtai New Materials Co., LTD., introduced that the project has selected the first complete domestic methanol plant with independent intellectual property rights of one million tons in China. Among them, the core process packages and equipment have all been fully localized, which has played a positive exemplary role in the full localization of large-scale coal chemical plants.

　　After the device is put into operation, it can effectively meet the raw material demands of fine chemical and chemical new materials enterprises in Xinjiang. Ma Kui said that this project will inject new impetus into the high-quality development of Xinjiang, China and Thailand.

　　The Toksun Wind Power Project is a new energy project based on the Xiaocao Lake Wind Area, one of the nine major wind regions in Xinjiang, with the goal of replacing green electricity in the park. Liu Chao, the person in charge of the China-Thailand New Energy Toksun self-owned green electricity to replace wind power project, introduced that the project has an installed capacity of 1.15 million kilowatts. After its completion, it will save 700,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 1.93 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

　　The project will focus on green electricity substitution and green chemical engineering, and actively explore the production and application of new green energy sources such as hydrogen, ammonia and alcohol. Liu Chao said that they will vigorously plan multiple green industries such as wind power, photovoltaic power, energy storage, green hydrogen, green ammonia and green alcohol, and strive to build the first green chemical city in Xinjiang between China and Thailand.

　　Xinjiang Zhongtai is a wholly state-owned company funded by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region and directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Autonomous Region. Its predecessor was the Pesticide Factory of Xinjiang Bayi Agricultural College established in 1958. It has gone through several development stages, including the caustic soda plant, the chlor-alkali plant, and Zhongtai Chemical. In July 2012, the People's Government of the autonomous region established Xinjiang Zhongtai Group on the basis of Zhongtai Chemical. In January 2023, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Autonomous Region designated it as an industrial group. After 67 years of development, Xinjiang Zhongtai has become a key industrial enterprise and a leading enterprise in the industry in the autonomous region.

This year, the company plans to expand overseas bases and hopes to further deepen cooperation with Xinjiang Zhongtai to extend the industrial chain.

Xinjiang Zhongtai also ensures the supply of raw materials for the enterprise.
